What’s been happening:

I'll always be grateful that the G.I. Bill made it possible for me to enter and graduate from Penn State. I thoroughly enjoyed being a student as well as my time in the Sigma Pi fraternity. Shortly after graduation I married Joan Schaffer, a tri-Delta I met during our junior year. Together we raised three children, Lydia, a PSU graduate who received her Master's Degree from the University of Chicago, Chris, a graduate of Cornell who completed his Master's Degree at Boston College, and Curt who received both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from PSU. Go Penn State! I loved my 30-year career in the life insurance industry and working in NYC. The great group of people at the New York Life Insurance Company and industry contacts throughout the U.S. and Canada made this a wonderful experience. In 1989 I retired as a Vice President with the Company. Since my retirement, Joan and I are primarily involved in visits with our scattered family, volunteer work with our church, and international travel. I also enjoy membership in a retired men's club, using my computer, and buzzing around town in my green and white 1992 Mustang 5.0 convertible. Joan and I now have five grandchildren. In August 2009 we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with the whole family.
